Dali was a Spanish surrealist painter known for

his eccentricity. He was also one of Farrell’s

most famous portrait subjects.

The angle of this shot works

perfectly to emphasize Dali’s eccentricity, as we follow the

paintbrush at the far left of the image to Dali

and his wife Gala at a disorienting but

imaginative angle.
